If you are traveling to Salt Lake City and are searching for the perfect luxury hotel, consider staying at The Grand America. Their five diamond rated service, coupled with an impeccably decorated hotel can't be beat in SLC. Beautifully appointed in European style decor, you'll transport to another place in time as you stroll past antique paintings, ornate rugs, massive draperies, manicured lawns and shrubs, marble floors, exquisite fountains, and stunning pools. Each evening, the lobby comes alive with live piano music and an hors d'oeuvre hour, allowing you to relax in the bar or lounge.
 

The hotel is SLC's only AAA Five-Diamond hotel, and the luxury is obvious. Each room is beautifully appointed and features the best amenities in town. The bedding is simply scrumptious and will guarantee a good night's sleep for travelers. The Tower Kitchen Suite, which my family enjoyed, features not only typical hotel room offerings such as the spacious living area, a dual vanity area, spacious bathroom, two balconies, but also a full size kitchen with stove top, dish washer, and full size refrigerator, and even laundry machines to help ease your burden while traveling. All the furniture in the hotel rooms are handcrafted, the decor features  all original artwork, and the service is outstanding. Two maid services visit daily, and turn down service at night offers chocolates and slippers. Complimentary wifi is in all rooms.

On site, you can enjoy an indoor pool, fitness center, and spa, and also a massive outdoor pool area. The hotel offers quite a few on-site shops from a yummy European confection house, La Bonne Vie, offering fine chocolates and sweet treats, to JouJou, the cutest and most interactive toy store I have ever been to. During holidays and some weekends, the stores offers book readings, scavenger hunts, and even kid friendly activities. Two on site restaurants, as well as full room service, makes for easy dining options.
