The Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City

Apple fanatics arriving on flights to New York City will encounter a new glass cube at the company’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

The tech giant unveiled a stunning, more seamless version of the iconic cube during a Friday morning ceremony.

The re-design features just 15 glass panes. That’s down from a total of 90 in the original design. For photos of the new cube, check out this article in the International Business Times.

The new cube was reportedly the brainchild of recently deceased Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The original cube, designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, was one of the most photographed landmarks in New York City.
