That's because aa.com now makes it possible for passengers to type in their flight number or departure airport and see if Wi-Fi will be offered in-flight from their internet enabled mobile devices. American said the widget has been very popular with customers since it was launched on AA.com. American offers Wi-Fi on all available flights within the continental United States. Vice president of marketing, Rob Friedman, commented on the news: "We know our customers are mobile by definition, and having information they want and need on the go can simplify and enhance the travel experience for them."
