American Airlines and airberlin, the second-largest airline in Germany, have announced that they will soon launch a codeshare agreement.

 

Under the deal, both carriers will be allowed to sell tickets on each other's flights.

 

Airberlin flies to 160 destinations throughout North America, Europe, Russia and the Middle East.

 

Both airlines are a part of the oneworld airline alliance.
