Alaska Airlines announced a 15.8% jump in January traffic to 1.71 billion revenue passenger miles when compared to 1.47 billion RPMs the same month a year prior. 

The airline’s available seat miles (number of seats available
multiplied by the number of miles flown) increased by 12.4 percent last month
to 2.13 billion from 1.9 billion when compared to the same time period a year ago.

Alaska Airline's on-time arrival rate was 85.3 percent in January 2011, a slight drop from 85.7 percent in January 2010.
