AirTran offering more warm-weather flights this winter

 

AirTran Airways announced Wednesday that it will offer nonstop flights from Tampa to Key West, as well as other new flights to warmer climates this winter.

 

According to an Associated Press report, the Tampa-Key West route will start on March 10, 2011.

 

In addition, AirTran announced it will operate more flights to Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

 

AirTran Airways agreed to be acquired by Southwest Airlines for a reported $1.4 billion in cash and stock.
