Travel into and out of France may be difficult in the coming weeks

Traveling into or out of France this month? Chances are you might experience a disruption in your flight as six disgruntled trade unions have called for a four day nationwide strike.

The unions have called on airlines and airport workers to strike as early as Friday November 5th due to their anger over the planned government reform on the retirement age in France. The country wants to bump it up from 60 to 62.

The national society of airline pilots and flight attendant union have requested the walkout to begin November 5th and end on November 8th.  That is bad timing for many business travelers as World Travel Market is scheduled for November 8th in London, which could cause many Europeans to miss the event if a strike were to occur.
