This iconic and beautiful landmark that connects San Francisco to California's northern counties is recognized for its burnt orange color, sweeping cables and long, elegant design. The bridge recently celebrated 75 years of existence which led to visitor enhancements and guided tours to help visitors to the Golden Gate Bridge. Eat: Mission Chinese Food; After all of the exploring you’ll do at the Golden Gate Bridge, you’ll work up quite an appetite.
