Veracruz All Natural

GET THE MIGAS – it was named one of the five best tacos in America! Veracruz All Natural is a well-known establishment with 5 locations in Austin and 1 location in Red Rock, Texas. This taco truck has been recognized by a number of publications such as Rachel Ray, Rolling Stones, and Austin Eater. You’ll find a variety of options on the menu including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Being that the grub on the truck became so popular and in high demand, two storefronts opened along with the trucks that are still in business.

Mariscos Jalisco

In LA? You’ve got to see why locals are in love with this boozy taco truck. Mariscos Jalisco has been serving some of “the best” tacos in town on wheels since 2002. Choose your taco or dish and pair it with a refreshing cocktail! A must-try is the shrimp taco; a hard shell taco stuffed with fried shrimp topped with avocado and salsa –YUM.

El Ultimo

This Houston truck is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., so whether you’re in the area during breakfast/lunch/or dinner time, El Ultimo has it all. Choose from breakfast taco options during the morning hours or from an assortment of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tortas. Customers rave about this delicious truck, so don’t think twice about passing by for a freshly made flour tortilla stuffed with meat and topped with cilantro and more!

Mariscos German

What better place to enjoy a taco than in laid-back San Diego? Be sure to go on an empty stomach because the portions at this taco truck are huge. Mariscos German has  fresh fish and tacos galore but if you’re not in the mood for some tacos try the tostadas mixtas while you’re here.

Taqueria La Fondita #2

Making a taco on food truck

This Seattle eatery proves that #2 is #1! Taqueria La Fondita has been around for over a decade and is located in White Center. While in the area, stop and sit for a bite to eat — yes, they even have seating! And when you’re unsure of what to order, get the three taco combo, you won’t be disappointed!

Los Dos Hermanos

Visit this Denver truck for the state’s best tacos (really though). The deliciousness that comes from Los Dos Hermanos is undeniable. This truck is only open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. so be sure to plan for an early breakfast or lunch. Choose Tacos al Vapor, their specialty – steamed and shredded beef with a corn tortilla topped with salsa, onions, and cilantro, or order the Lengua — not the top pick for most customers but it is in fact, scrumptious!

El Tonayense

If you’re headed to San Francisco … GET THESE TACOS. El Tonayense taco truck was established in 1993, taking the authentic street-style food from Tonaya, Jalisco state (hence the name), to the US. On the menu, you’ll choose from tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas each with a choice of meat. Oh, and don’t forget to get their salsa, it’s made from a secret family recipe!
