Allegiant Air has announced they will be ending their flights to Hawaii from all origins other than their year-round service from Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Allegiant previously offered service from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to Honolulu, and seasonal flights from Fresno, Stockton, and Eugene.

Allegian spokeswoman Jessica Wheeler said, “We did not see enough demand for the route to successfully sustain the service.”

The airline was up against competitors out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport like US Airways and Hawaiian, who offer daily non-stop flights to Hawaii.
