Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, Switzerland

Located about an hour via train from Zurich, the tiny city of Lucerne is actually the most populous municipality in Central Switzerland. Next to lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus in the Swiss Alps, Lucerne is mostly a tourist destination. But with a population of nearly 58,000 residents, it also has a small town feel to it as well. The city’s most famous landmark is the Chapel Bridge, which was built way back in the 14th century.
