Angel Falls in Venezuela

Standing tall at a jaw dropping 3,212 feet (that’s 19 times higher than Niagara Falls!), Angel Falls, located in Venezuela’s Canaima National Park, is in fact the world’s highest waterfall. Locals call it Kerepakupai merú, which translates to “waterfall of the deepest place.”

Whatever you want to call it, chances are you will be in awe from its beauty upon arrival. The fall is so high that much of the water that does fall is blown away by the wind or evaporates.

It’s not easy to get to Angel Falls either. Your best bet is to book a flight to Caracas, transfer to the city of Canaima, then hail a motorized canoe for a four-hour river ride and finally hike through a jungle for an hour. Eh maybe it’s just easier to gaze at this picture and daydream.

Nice Shot! Angel Falls comprises vast range of beauty in it as a World’s highest water falls. It’s amazing view when you see from helicopter. In winter it is very difficult to see because of clouds.
