Frontier Airlines to Allow Pets to Fly for $75 CheapOair Staff May 12, 2010 general Frontier allowing pets on-board Frontier Airlines is well known for its animal tales, which includes such creatures as Elk, rabbits, cubs and cougars. Now passengers can bring along their own furry friends on their next flight with the low-cost carrier. That's because Frontier announced Wednesday that small pets can fly the friendly skies for $75 each way. Pets that qualify include cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and small birds. Pets should be able to fit under an airplane seat in a carrier and owners should have proper health documentations on hand. The low-cost carrier's $75 fee is actually lower than some airline tickets currently available by Frontier. If your pooch, kitty or other animal is deemed to large, then you can check them in as luggage for a $150 fee. Source: Business Week
