Hawaiian Airlines is No. 1 carrier for the eighth month in a row!

Hawaiian Airlines was named the nation’s top ranked carrier in May for the eighth consecutive month. The airline was claimed as the best in on-time performance and fewest flight cancellations, the Department of Transportation reported.

The airline placed at No. 1 among all airlines for punctuality during May with 94.3 percent of its flights arriving as scheduled.

Additionally, the airline had the least amount of canceled flights for May with just one cancellation out of 5,511 total flights, also ranking it No. 1 in the industry. 

Hawaiian also had the nation’s second highest ranking for smallest amount of misplaced bags during May, having recorded 1.82 mishandled baggage reports for every 1,000 travelers served.
