Orlando airport reports increased foot traffic for June

Orlando International Airport enjoyed a 2.1 percent passenger traffic bump last month (perhaps from the masses that visited the new Harry Potter theme park), with 2,938,672 passengers using MCO in June. International traffic was also up by an impressive 12.2 percent, with 249, 034 travelers passing though the airport.

The airport reported a 1.12 percent increase year-over-year and credits it to more flights coming into Orlando from Dallas; Houston; Seattle; New York; Newark; Detroit; Minneapolis; Atlanta; Nassau, Bahamas; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Springfield, MO.; and Las Vegas. Orlando is Florida's second busiest airport.
