Sunday marks the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina

Sunday is five years since Hurricane Katrina destroyed much of New Orleans. To mark the anniversary, President Barack Obama will pay a visit to the Crescent City.

According to the White House, Obama will talk at Xavier University. In addition, various administration officials that helped with the recovery after Katrina will be in attendance to mark the anniversary on August 29.

Obama's last visit to the New Orleans area was to assess the damage done earlier this year by the Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill.
