Aircell announced Tuesday that its GoGo Inflight
internet service has been installed on 1,000 planes,with plans to reach 2,000 aircrafts by 2011.

That means one-third of all mainline aircraft flying every day in the United States has Gogo Inflight service onboard. This month alone has been extremely busy for aircell, which has equipped numerous Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines planes with the service.
