Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab will be present for a pretrial hearing over the case, where a possible trial date could be set by U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds. Nearly 300 people were on-board a Northwest Airlines flight last December, when Abdulmutallab allegedly tried to ignite a bomb stored in his underwear.
