That's because the airline will start offering members and guest free alcohol at its Admiral Club lounges throughout the United States. Beer, wine and well drinks are complimentary, but AA will charge for certain premium liquors, wines and snacks. According to an Associated Press report, " American says customers have been clamoring for free drinks, and it's just giving them another benefit for joining the Admirals Club." Now before you run to your nearest airport for free booze, you have to first sign up to become a member of the club, which can cost up to $500 a year or $50 for a one-day pass.
