Continental Airlines sees increse in international bookings

 

Wednesday, Continental Airlines announced that its mainline
domestic bookings for the next six weeks are down 0.6 points, while
international bookings are up 0.8 points, driven by trans-Pacific routes.

 

Atlantic bookings increased 0.5 points over the period,
while Pacific bookings are up by 9.3 points according to government filing.

 

Currently for the quarter, Continental predicts having
between $4.1 billion and $4.2 billion in short-term investments and
unrestricted cash.
