More Mexico offerings from American Airlines

American Airlines and its regional affiliate, American Eagle, announced plans Monday to increase service to and from Mexico.

American said the additional service is a result of increased demand, in part related to the suspension of flights by Mexicana Airlines on August 11.

Below are the new flights to be offered by American Airlines:

  • Dallas/Fort Worth-Mexico City: Increasing from four to five daily roundtrip flights on November 18.

  • Miami-Mexico City: Increasing from three to four daily roundtrip flights on November 18.

  • Miami-Cancun: Increasing from four daily roundtrip on weekdays and five roundtrip on weekends to five daily nonstop flights on February 10, 2011.

  • Chicago-Mexico City: Adding one new daily roundtrip flight on December 16.
