Singapore Airlines headed to South America

 

Singapore Airlines, the world's second largest carrier by market value, announced Thursday it would be flying into South America for the first time starting in March 2011. 

 

The airline will be offering a flight between Sao Paolo, Brazil and Barcelona, Spain three times a week. 

 

Flights will operate between Barcelona and Sao Paulo's
Guarulhos International Airport under Star Alliance partner Spanair via a codeshare arrangement.
