Lufthansa flying high these days

Deutsche Lufthansa AG predicted Thursday that their business will remain strong well into 2011 after international premium class travel and cargo services saw an increase in demand and improved for the third quarter.

Lufthansa Chief Financial Officer Stephan Gemkow commented on the good news: "Average yields went up significantly in all long-haul
regions and load factors improved at the same time."

The airline said its strongest growth was seen on routes to Asia, as well as North and South America. Lufthansa just began offering A380 jets to Beijing and Tokyo.
