Perhaps one of the most legendary NFL teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers are back in an all too familiar situation, preparing for Super Bowl XLV. The Steel City, the City of Champions, and the City of Bridges are all identifiable nicknames of Pittsburgh, but what can the traveler come to expect?

Visitors could easily spend an entire day at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, for its dinosaur exhibit alone, but for many other reasons as well, as it ranks as one of the best natural history museums.

Pittsburgh is a true river city and one of the most unique in the U.S. because of the triangular shape of the business district, of which the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers flow down the sides of the city to form the Ohio River.

One of the highlights is Station Square, located on the Monongahela River, and featuring boutique shops, restaurants, hotels, and nightlife. The Amphitheater at Station Square is great on spring and summer evenings when if features live music.
