Etihad Airways, Air New Zealand Reach Codeshare Agreement

Air New Zealand to Begin Codesharing with Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways has reached a codeshare agreement with Air New Zealand for flights between Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi and London Heathrow are also included in the new relationship.

Under the new agreement, Etihad Airways will code share on Air New Zealand’s trans-Tasman and domestic services.

The codeshare agreement will allow loyalty members of both airlines to still earn points and benefit from using the opposing airline.

The code share flights are expected to be available for sale by the end of February and for travel by the close of March pending government consent.
