A bill dedicated to boosting Michigan’s tourism funding is one step closer to a reality.

The Michigan House passed the bill that would allow the Michigan tourism advertising campaign to get $10 million by a margin of 95-13. It has now been passed on to the Senate.

The tourism advertising campaign could receive up to $25 million in additional funding if the 21st Century Jobs Fund and Gov. Rick Snyder have their way.
