Emirates will fly its first ever A380 flight to Kuwait this month in honor of the country’s 50th National Day. The event will offer the people of Kuwait their first look at the superjumbo jet.  

The one-time flight will fly into Kuwait National Airport on February 26, marking a significant and symbolic milestone for Emirates and its Kuwait operations. The airline has serviced the sovereign Arab nation since 1989.

“Although we have no immediate plans to operate an A380 on the route permanently, we remain committed to providing customers in Kuwait with convenient flight and onward connection times through our Dubai hub,” said Ahmed Khoory, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Gulf, Middle East, and Iran.
