Miami International Airport Gets Premium Lounge

American Airlines, British Airways, and Iberia have announced Tuesday that they've opened a premium lounge at Miami International Airport together.

 

The lounge is a 6,000-square-foot place that allows seating for up to 120 people. Travelers will be able to get some work done using the lounge's work stations.  All stations will have high-speed Internet access.

 

If you're not looking to work but rather relax, the lounge will also have two TV lounges with flat-panel TVs.  They'll also be a children's room and spa-esque showers.

 

The lounge will be filled with food and beverages, including the finest in wines, beers, and liquors.

 

It'll be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

 

Those welcomed to the premium lounge include; oneworld
eligible International First Class, Business Class and Emerald and
Sapphire customers. Customers traveling on an AA-operated
transcontinental full fare First Class (F and Z inventory) or full fare
Business Class (J and U inventory) ticket, as well as Admirals Club
members departing from Concourse E, may also access the lounge.

 

It's located on Concourse E beyond the security checkpoint on the fifth floor.
