American Airlines continues U.S. - Tokyo flights
AA continues U.S.-Tokyo flights despite current events

American Airlines has stated that even with Japan attempting to recover from the massive earthquake and tsunami from last week and the new threat of a possible nuclear meltdown due to issues at the Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant, the carrier will continue round-trip flights between the United States and Japan.

AA said that even with a potential nuclear meltdown, radiation levels are low where Americans fly to in Tokyo. Flights out of Japan's capital city have been about 75 percent full according to the airline.
