Qatar Gets More Jets

Boeing announced Wednesday that Qatar Airways put in an order for five jets at a total value of $1.4 billion.

The airline will be getting three Boeing 777 freighters and two of the 777-300ERs, which is an extended-range passenger version similar to the aforementioned jet.

Qatar Airways currently flies 25 777s.

Actual cost the airline would be paying and expected delivery date were not disclosed.
