Continental & Lot to Share Codes

Continental Airlines and Lot Polish Airlines signed a codeshare agreement Thursday.

The focus of the agreement will be on flights between New York, Warsaw, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and London.

Continental’s code, “CO,” can be placed on Lot’s trans-Atlantic flights between Continental’s New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport and Lot’s Warsaw hub.

Pending government approval, Continental’s code will also be available for Lot flights servicing Warsaw to Paris/Charles de Gaulle that have connections to Continental’s New York/Newark-Paris Flights.

No this isn’t a lopsided agreement, Lot will have their code, “LO,” available for Continental flights between New York/Newark, Los Angeles, Miami and more that connect to Lot’s trans-atlantic flights between Warsaw and New York/Newark.
