An Air Traffic Controller at Attention

Another air traffic controller was suspended from his position but it wasn’t for falling asleep for a change, he was up but taking in a movie on his portable DVD player.

The incident occurred a little after midnight on Sunday at the Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center in Oberlin, Ohio.

He was caught doing something other than his job because pilots noticed the movie audio through the radio according to the FAA.

The controller’s mic was on transmitting the movie’s sound for over three minutes.

A military pilot reported the occurrence to the proper authorities.
