Boeing 747-8 prepares for big debut

Boeing confirmed Monday that both the Intercontinental passenger version and the Freighter version of their new 747-8 models will make their public debut at the Paris Air Show on June 20th at Le Bourget. 

The two planes will join the much talked about, and much delayed, 787 Dreamliner as Boeing's main highlights at the annual show. "We are excited to bring to the Paris Air Show the world’s
newest and most innovative family of commercial airplanes," said Tom
Downey, senior vice president, Boeing Communications.

Other Boeing offerings during the event include the Air Berlin 737-700 with new Boeing Sky Interior and a Qatar Airways Boeing 777-200LR, which is being touted as the longest range passenger airplane on the planet.
