London Heathrow airport was fortunate enough to have 68 million passengers during the last 12 months, making it the busiest year in the airport’s history.

The numbers were also helped by servicing 9.3 million passengers in May, an 11.6 percent increase over the same month last year.

Its current year-to-date traffic is a 9.8 percent increase.

The record numbers are slated to hold for sometime due to the airport no longer getting a third runway.
