$5 More Out of Your Pocket

Spirit Airlines announced Tuesday that they will be implementing a $5 fee for passengers looking to have their boarding pass printed out by an airport agent.

Those looking to avoid the extra fee still can.  You can do so by checking in online or by using a self-service kiosk.

Self-service kiosks will only be free until June 26, 2012. They’ll charge a $1 from then.

The airline said it would lower its airline fares to offset the boarding pass fee according to USA Today.
