LOT Polish Airlines Will Be First European Airline to Receive Boeing 787 Dreamliner CheapOair Staff June 24, 2011 general The Boeing 787 Dreamliner makes its first landing in Warsaw LOT Polish Airlines will be the first European carrier to take delivery of and fly Boeing’s brand new 787 Dreamliner. The first of the twinjet aircraft is expected to join LOT’s fleet by next summer, with three additional Dreamliners being delivered by the end of 2012. In total, eight Boeing Dreamliners will be added to the LOT fleet. The next generation aircraft made its first landing Friday in front of hundreds of spectators at Warsaw's Frederic Chopin airport.
