British Airways Sees Rise in Family Travel CheapOair Staff August 1, 2011 general Airline to Serve 7,000 Kids Meals British Airways (BA) released data Monday showcasing a 10 percent rise in family travel out of Gatwick Airport thus far for 2011. The airline is expected to serve an estimated 7,000 child meals between last month and August for flights out of Gatwick. Gatwick Airport, which has issued a number of family friendly initiatives to make traveling through their airport more convenient, will also be giving out 26,000 Paddington Bear Skyflyer packs.
