Marriott International and its group of owners, Granite Broadway Development, have come to terms on a franchise agreement that will make Marriott the tallest of all the hotels in New York.
The agreement encompasses two hotels in one building, a 378-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel and a 261-room Residence Inn by Marriott hotel, making it 68 stories high but certainly not one of the largest hotels in the world.
It will reach as high as 752 feet and change.  According to the Breaking Travel News report, it will be the tallest hotel in New York that doesn’t have office or residential space.
They won’t see a guest in their beds until the latter part of 2013.
