Here are five attractions you can’t afford to miss next time you’re in town. Miami doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg because there are always flights to Miami available at attractive prices, so remember to book early and jet off – even for a weekend. The Everglades Safari Park The Everglades Safari Park is perfect for the tourist who wants an outdoor adventure in an airboat that can accommodate singles, couples, and groups as well. There are also wildlife shows and jungle walkways perfect for the family. Curious about crocodiles? You’ve come to the right place. You can even pet an alligator if you feel so inclined — just make sure you have no food in your pocket and follow the rules. Visit Museums From the Historical Museum of Southern Florida to the Miami Sequarium, there’s no shortage of world-class attractions to further you and your family’s education in Miami. At the Sequarium, you can swim with the dolphins and visit other gracious aquatic creatures. Be sure to take advantage of seasonal passes to save on your visit. The Museum of South Florida offers you an opportunity to really learn about Tampa Bay and its roots, and there is also a Planetarium. Beaches and Scuba Diving Apart from brushing shoulders with celebrities and the paparazzi at Miami Beach, you can also scuba dive off Jupiter Beach, which is technically located in Palm Beach Country in Florida. Enjoy Periodical Festivals and Carnival Miami is a party town (but you already knew that). Apart from the popping nightclubs in the South Beach area, many of which rarely close before 4:00 a.m., there are several opportunities for visitors to party the night away. The Miami/Broward One Carnival is one such festival that the city offers, on October 9th. Enjoy the parade filled with elaborate costumes while you sip a margarita and marvel at the Caribbean flavors of the city. You Might Also Enjoy: Family Trip to Florida?
