Faux Pas: New York, London, Milan Fashion Weeks to Overlap in 2012 CheapOair Staff October 4, 2011 general Backstage at New York Fashion Week Keeping up with the world of fashion can be hard enough in a normal year. In 2012, it looks to be darn near impossible. That’s because three of the world’s premiere Fashion Weeks are set to overlap next year for the first time. Due to schedule changes, Fall Fashion Weeks in Milan, New York, and London will all be in conflict with one another. New York City plans to kick off the fashion showdown on September 13, a week later than years previous. Milan plans to get into the action on September 19 with London following just two days later on September 21. Paris will also join the fray a little later on September 25. There is still time to adjust the calendars but none of the cities appears close to giving in at this point. If new dates aren’t agreed upon, designers, models, and fashion fans may have to prioritize cities and shows for the first time. Source: Huffington Post
