Up to 10,000 Kris Kringles will participate in this year’s run

Las Vegas will be looking a little more like the North Pole this Saturday as up to 10,000 Santas descend upon Sin City to participate in the 7th annual Santa Run, a unique 5k race that raises Christmas spirit and much needed funding for a great cause.

Thousands of participants arriving on flights to Las Vegas will dress up like Jolly Old Saint Nick before racing through Town Square to benefit Opportunity Village, a nonprofit that assists people with intellectual disabilities.

Now in its seventh year, the Santa Run has quickly become a Las Vegas holiday staple. This year organizers hope to shatter a Guinness record for the most Santas gathered in one place.

The action gets underway Saturday, December 3 at 8 AM in grand style with five Santa Claus impersonators parachuting into Town Square.
