Could free fun in the sun make up for a Super Bowl loss?

The fallout from the New York Giants stunning upset of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI continued on two small, yet very distant islands Tuesday.

As the Giants paraded through the streets of Manhattan (gaining keys to the city in the process), the Patriots were offered one heck of a consolation prize from the Aruba Tourism Authority.

According to a report from USA Today, Aruba invited Patriots players and coaches and their families to visit the island nation, all expenses paid.

In a statement released Tuesday, the authority’s CEO Ronella Tjin said Aruba wished to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the team despite their Super letdown.

No word yet on which (if any) Patriots plan on cashing in on the enticing offer.
