It just wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day in San Francisco without a good old-fashioned pillow fight. For the past seven years, crowds have gathered at the Justin Herman Plaza on February 14 to beat the stuffing out of one another…all in good fun, of course.

2012 proved no different, with hundreds turning out to participate in the beloved Bay Area tradition. This year, however, Kiazad Ehya was on hand with a slow-mo camera to capture the amazing footage above.

Ehya set the chaotic footage to “Flower Duet” from Leo Delibes, creating an eerie sense of Valentine’s bliss.
We just had to share it with you.

Want to participate in something like this? You can book Valentine’s Day flights to San Francisco next year, or find a city participating in National Pillow Fight Day, which takes place on April 7, 2012.
