Flamingo Gardens: There is nothing better in the world than to see a sea of pink flamingos…and at these Gardens, you’ll find over 60 acres with more than 70 native birds and several hundred rare plants. You can also see alligators and panthers. The Gardens are located in Davie.
Snake Warrior’s Island: This nature preserve is well over 50 acres and has several bird trails tailored for those who don’t want to leave home without their binoculars. It also features archaeological islands and wetlands as well.
