Turkish Airlines receives first order of Boeing 777-300 planes

Turkish Airlines received its first order of 12 777-300 Extended Range plans from Boeing this week.

Turkish Airlines Executive Board Chairman Hamdi Topcu stated Tuesday night at a celebration dinner in Seattle that with this new order THY has 145 planes in its fleet, with 73 of them Boeing.

Based in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. It carries roughly 25 million passengers each
year, with direct flights to 127 international and 37 domestic destinations.
