Parks Adds Half-mile

NYC’s High Line park opened a new section Tuesday.

It’s got a new half-mile that reaches from West 20th street to West 35th street. It offers a modern “birdhouse” sculpture, views of the Empire State Building and a lawn with bench seating.

The park also has new access points at West 23rd, West 26th, West 28th and West 30th Street.

On top of that it’s got a new elevator at West 30th and is now wheelchair-accessible.

High Line is open daily  from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
