American Airlines Wi-Fi Widget (Image: aa.com) American Airlines business travelers can now check in ahead of time on their mobile devices to find out if their plane has Wi-Fi access.

That's because aa.com now makes it possible for passengers to type in their flight number or departure airport and see if Wi-Fi will be offered in-flight from their internet enabled mobile devices.

American said the widget has been very popular with customers since it
was launched on AA.com. American offers Wi-Fi on all available flights
within the continental United States.

Vice president of marketing, Rob Friedman, commented on the news: "We know our customers are mobile by definition, and having
information they want and need on the go can simplify and enhance the
travel experience for them."
