Yesterday, Google announced that the Museum of Science Boston would be
one of several museums in the United States to receive a $1 million
grant from the tech giant. 

Thursday, officials at the museum announced a second partnership with a tech-savvy company. The museum will soon partner with Segway to offer tours of Cambridge on the company’s futuristic vehicles.

Starting April 15, visitors to the museum will be able to take one-hour Segway tours that highlight local history, design, and engineering in the town.

Each Segway will also be equipped with an iPad to display tour information and headphones to provide tour narration.
