Telč, Czech Republic

Believe it or not there is more to Czech Republic than Prague. Now while their capital city is an outstanding travel destination to visit, be sure to rent a car and drive two hours south to the tiny town of Telč.

Telč was founded in the 13th century and played an important role in the trade route between Bohemia and Austria.

In 1992, this Czech city’s town square was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the best preserved Renaissance town north of the Alps and definitely worth the trek.
