Warner Bros. Studio Tour London Casts Summer Spells for All Ages Fun CheapOair Staff July 24, 2013 general This summer, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is inviting kids of all ages to experience its first ever Summer Spells feature. Running from the 26th of July until the 2nd of September, Summer Spells will give visitors the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the Harry Potter films and discover firsthand how spells such as Wingardium Leviosa were brought to life on screen and how details such as wand movements that accompanied the spells were developed. Staff will be on hand to assist aspiring wizards with their wand battle technique, aided by an interactive experience and tips from “Ward Combat expert” Paul Harris. There'll be special effects demonstrations created by BAFTA-winning Special Effects Supervisor John Richardson as well as specially made costumes on view which helped the cast of the Harry Potter films to visualize the glowing effect of Patronus. Located about 20 miles northwest of London in Leavesden, England and open barely more than a year, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is a bewitching attraction with authentic sets, costumes and props that showcase the knowhow and talent that go into producing world famous and successful movies, like the Harry Potter series which actually was shot at the Leavesden studios. Keep in mind, you're not able to buy tickets at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. All tickets must be purchased in advance at the Studio Tour's website. Individual tickets for adults (ages 16 and up) start at £29 (roughly $45). Children's tickets cost (ages 5 to 15) are £21.50 (about $30). Family and group rates as well as gift tickets also are available online. There are a variety of ways to reach the Studios, including return coach service from central London via Golden Tours. If you consider public transportation options, the nearest rail station to the studio is Watford Junction (with regular service from London Euston Station – it's a 20 minute journey). From Watford Junction, there's a shuttle bus taking visitors to the studio with costs £2 for a return ticket or £1.50 for a single ride. Guests to Warner Bros.
